Nigerian troops in collaboration with the Civilian Joint Task Force (CJTF) have killed a terrorist during a successful ambush in Yobe State.


The operation, conducted by Sector 2 of Operation Hadin Kai, took place around Ndoksa village near Buni Gari in Gujba Local Government Area. According to reports obtained from security sources on Saturday, the ambush was based on credible intelligence about terrorist movements in the area.


During the engagement, troops neutralized one terrorist and recovered an AK-47 rifle and two motorcycles believed to belong to the insurgents.

A security source confirmed that this mission is part of ongoing aggressive operations aimed at preventing terrorists from regrouping and disrupting their supply lines. “The troops remain committed to clearing remnants of Boko Haram and ISWAP fighters and restoring peace in the North-East region,” the source stated.
