A shocking video of American rapper and singer Lil Nas X roaming the streets of Los Angeles in just underwear and cowboy boots at around 4 AM has gone viral on social media, sparking massive reactions.
According to TMZ, the 26-year-old artist, whose real name is Montero Lamar Hill, was spotted on Ventura Boulevard by a passerby who recorded the strange encounter. In the footage, Lil Nas X can be seen walking confidently in nothing but white cowboy boots and matching underwear while interacting with the individual filming him.
At one point in the video, he can be heard telling the person to “head to a party” while singing.

In another bizarre moment, the singer reportedly threatened to grab the person’s phone and throw it if they stayed around, before placing a traffic cone on his head in a playful but erratic manner.

Multiple eyewitnesses reported the incident to the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). When officers arrived at the scene, Lil Nas X allegedly charged at them, prompting law enforcement to place him in handcuffs for safety reasons. According to LAPD officials who spoke to CNN, paramedics were called immediately, and the Grammy-winning star was transported to a local hospital over concerns of a possible drug overdose.
“Upon arrival the suspect charged at officers and was taken into custody. He was transported to a local hospital for a possible overdose and placed under arrest for battery on a police officer,” a police spokesperson told CNN.
Lil Nas X was later booked on a misdemeanor charge of battery on a peace officer, based on Los Angeles County Sheriff’s inmate records. After receiving medical attention, he was transferred to Van Nuys’ Valley Jail.
The bizarre incident has left fans shocked and worried about the mental health and well-being of the star, who is best known for global hits like Old Town Road and Industry Baby.
