Panic as UNILAG Final Year Student Disappears After Boarding Ride to Lagos Island

The family of Olusola James, a 21-year-old final-year student of the University of Lagos (UNILAG), is making a desperate call for help following his mysterious disappearance since May 9, 2025.


According to a report by LIB, his sister, Joy Olusola, revealed that James left the UNILAG campus that morning and boarded a ride heading to the Idumota area of Lagos Island. He has not been seen or heard from since. The family’s repeated attempts to trace his whereabouts have so far been unsuccessful.


“We have tried everything. It’s 24 days now and it’s just heartbreaking not to have heard from him or have any clue about what is really happening,” Joy said emotionally. “The police have been very slow about this and we would appreciate any help you can render, please.”

    Olusola is a 400-level undergraduate, and his disappearance has sparked concern among friends, students, and members of the university community.
