He said the Nigerian constitution already made provision for a regular security with the establishment of the Police saying a regional security outfit like ‘Amotekun’ has no constitutional backing.
In his words ” Amotekun will not last because it is indigenous, regionalized and lacks constitutional backing, whereas Nigeria is a country governed by the constitution. The constitution had already made provision for regular security with the establishment of the Nigeria Police Force. A regional security outfit like Amotekun is just a breach of the constitution,” that is why it will not last. It will only bring problem and conflicts,” he said.
”There is a motive behind the establishment which is to cleanse our tribe from the south, that’s is the agenda for its establishment. It is the objective of the government to provide security. Any parallel security outfit is unacceptable. I’m very sure Amotekun will not be recognized by law and it will never be legalized.”
He noted that there is a need for restructuring of the security architecture of the country especially the police force. Dailypost

The Emir of Zuru, Major General Muhammadu Sani Sami, retired, (Sami Gomo II) has said politicians who could not win elections are the ones trying to break the country into pieces.
The monarch said these “evil people are doing everything possible to make Buhari fail, even calling for the removal of the service chiefs.”
“I mean, we should be very, very hard on them. We should not tolerate nonsense at all,” he told Sun.
Sami, who was commissioned into the Nigeria Army in 1963 as Second Lieutenant alongside Muhammadu Buhari, now Nigeria’s President, said many wicked politicians do not want him(Buhari) to succeed, adding that “They just want to make sure that this country breaks into pieces.”
“Just like I said, many wicked politicians who are out there don’t want him to succeed. They just want to make sure that this country breaks into pieces and God will not allow them.
“Despite these losses, he exercised patience before God answered his prayers in the 2015 general election. If you lose election, why must you throw the country into crisis?
“We should be harder on these people who want to destroy Nigeria. I mean, we should be very, very hard on them. We should not tolerate nonsense at all.
