Nigeria’s U-23 team |
The Nigeria’s U-23 team turned a two goal deficit to an
opportunity to qualify for the next Olympic as they beat their Libyan
counterparts 4-0 on Monday, with Victor Osimhen netting a brilliant hat-trick
to put Nigeria through.
The Dream Team VII came into the game at the Stephen Keshi
Stadium, with a 2-0 deficit from the first leg.
However, Osimhen gave Nigeria a 1-0 lead in the first half
and scored two more after the break.
The striker also set up David Okereke for the last goal in
injury time.
The U-23 Eagles have now qualified for the U-23 Africa Cup
of Nations on a 4-2 aggregate.
