Controversial Nollywood actor Olanrewaju Omiyinka, widely recognized in the indigenous Yoruba movie industry as Baba Ijesha, has taken to social media to announce the arrival of his newborn son.
In a highly public digital broadcast shared on Monday, June 15, 2026, the comic actor uploaded a professional maternity photoshoot featuring himself and his prominent fashion designer wife, Abiodun Folashade Tokunbo, popularly known as Ceo Luminee.
Revealing the newborn’s name as King Kagar Omiyinka, the actor expressed immense gratitude to God for a healthy addition to his family.
The announcement has since generated a wave of mixed reactions and congratulatory messages from close industry colleagues, fans, and digital followers across his social media networks.
“In quiet ways, in unseen ways, God has been writing a story only He could tell. We thank the Almighty for blessing us with a healthy baby boy," Baba Ijesha wrote via his official Instagram handle.
"God gave me more than I prayed for. My ever beautiful wife, strong Jagaban, Abikese de mi owo, @ceolumineeofficial, who became the mother of my son, King Kagar Omiyinka.”
This milestone marks a highly publicized new chapter for Omiyinka, who was officially released from correctional custody in November 2025 after successfully serving out his prison term following a highly controversial conviction in a child sexual assault case.
Leaving his legal battles behind, Baba Ijesha's latest domestic milestone with the celebrity designer has positioned him back under the entertainment spotlight, signaling his intent to rebuild his family life and public image.
