Nigerian fashion icon and actress Temi Otedola has announced that she is expecting her first child with her husband, the popular afrobeats singer Tosin Ajibade, better known to global audiences as Mr Eazi.
The celebrity couple broke the internet after sharing their joyful news in a joint Instagram publication.
The revelation comes after a whirlwind year for the duo, who successfully managed to keep the early phases of their journey into parenthood away from the public eye.
Speaking exclusively to international publication PEOPLE, the 30-year-old billionaire heiress and digital creator revealed that they discovered the pregnancy during their extended vacation last year.
The couple had just completed an exhausting yet beautiful series of wedding events across multiple continents before taking time out for a much-needed mental break.

“After wrapping up three weddings in 2025—a court wedding in Monaco, a traditional Nigerian wedding in Dubai, and a church wedding in Iceland—we wanted to end the year with a 2-month, digital-detoxed honeymoon, travelling across Korea and Japan,” Temi told the publication. “That’s when we found out!”
The actress disclosed that they chose a highly intimate and traditional approach to break the news to their immediate inner circle.
With friends and family scattered globally, they gifted physical ultrasound printouts as a surprise to their loved ones.
While the couple has consciously decided to keep the biological sex of their child private for now, she confirmed they are already actively consulting their parents for native baby names, keeping up with deep-rooted Nigerian traditions.
Temi admitted that while her first trimester was incredibly tough due to severe fatigue and all-day morning sickness, she now feels stronger, more energized, and deeply appreciative of how pregnancy has forced her usually fast-paced life to slow down beautifully.
