Ondo State Police patrol vehicles deployed to Akotogbo community following the discovery of two bodies



Tension has gripped the Akotogbo community in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State following the discovery of the bodies of two local residents, Loyinmi Bode and Andrew Friday. 

The remains were found at separate locations within a bush over the past month, sparking fear among the agrarian population.

The Ondo State Police Command confirmed the deployment of robust security measures to the area to prevent a breakdown of law and order.

Police Public Relations Officer, Abayomi Jimoh, stated that the command is resolute in its mandate to protect lives and is working to identify those responsible for the deaths.

According to Qubes Magazine, residents of the community have called for urgent government intervention to stop what they perceive as a rising threat to their safety. 

While the cause of death for both individuals has not yet been officially confirmed, the police have assured law-abiding citizens that investigations are ongoing and that the culprits will face the full weight of the law.
