Ipswich Town has officially secured promotion to the Premier League following a dominant 3-0 victory over Queens Park Rangers at Portman Road.
Early strikes from George Hirst and Jaden Philogene, followed by a late effort from Kasey McAteer, sealed second place in the Championship behind champions Coventry City.
Manager Kieran McKenna, who has now guided the club to three promotions in four seasons, described this achievement as the hardest of his career.
While Ipswich celebrates, the story was different for Wrexham. Despite their recent rise, a -2-2 draw with Middlesbrough saw them narrowly miss out on the play-offs.
Hull City secured the final play-off spot and will now face Millwall, while Southampton takes on Middlesbrough for the final ticket to the top flight.
