Veteran Nollywood actor Dele Odule has shared a chilling memory from a time when professional frustration led him to the brink of despair.
In a recent interview with Feelright TV, the "Ti Oluwa Nile" star revealed that he once visited a casket shop in Abeokuta to price a coffin for himself, believing his career had reached a dead end.
Odule clarified that his dark period was not caused by illness but by the psychological weight of feeling stagnant while his former classmates appeared to be thriving.
He was accompanied during this visit by fellow actor Olaiya Igwe, who was reportedly moved to tears by the sight.
“I just believed I could no longer have breakthroughs in the industry... my life was nothing to write home about,” Odule confessed.
