Residents of Agbor in the Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State have been thrown into mourning following the shocking m*rd3r of a young woman identified as Christabel Aminu, who was found d**d inside her apartment.
According to early reports, the incident occurred on Saturday, October 25, 2025, when unknown assailants broke into Christabel’s residence, attacked her, and carted away her phone, jewelry, and other valuables.

Human rights activist Ochiegbu Marvelous, who confirmed the incident via Facebook, described the late Christabel as a devoted comrade and a passionate member of their organization. “We lost one of our comrades in Agbor, Delta State today. It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of one of our members, a female comrade who was tragically m*rd3r3d in her home,” he wrote.
Ochiegbu further revealed that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the crime after attempting to sell the deceased’s phone. “The suspect, who took her phone, was apprehended in the afternoon when he tried to sell it. Rest in peace, our dear comrade,” he added.
