Scene of cultist killing in Alaba Lagos

Lagos residents have been left in fear following the gruesome killing of a young man by suspected members of the Eiye Confraternity in the Alaba area of the state.

According to a report by Punchng, the incident adds to the rising number of cult-related murders that have rocked various parts of Lagos in recent weeks. The victim, identified only as Hope, was allegedly targeted for belonging to a rival cult group.

A disturbing video, sourced from the Telegram channel of Naija Confra, shows Hope seated on the floor during an interrogation by the suspected cultists. Visibly shaken, he introduced himself saying, “My name is Hope. I live on Abanise Street.”

In another shorter clip, less than 25 seconds long, the lifeless body of Hope is seen lying in a pool of blood with deep machete wounds to his neck and face. The footage, which quickly spread across social media, sparked outrage and calls for urgent police intervention.
