Chelsea Eyes Man Utd Star Garnacho Loan Amid Arsenal’s Final Push for Gyokeres Deal

Chelsea interested in Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho loan transfer

Chelsea is reportedly interested in securing Manchester United forward Alejandro Garnacho on loan this summer as the Argentine winger is keen on staying in the Premier League. According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Garnacho remains on Chelsea’s shortlist despite no official talks between the two clubs yet.

Romano reveals that Garnacho is among several top Manchester United players, including Jadon Sancho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia, who were dropped from coach Ruben Amorim’s pre-season squad, with the club advising them to find new teams. Chelsea’s priority, however, remains advancing the transfer of Xavi Simons before focusing fully on Garnacho.

Meanwhile, Arsenal is finalizing their deal to sign Viktor Gyökeres from Sporting CP. Legal teams are currently reviewing documents to complete the transfer, which includes €10 million in add-ons. Romano confirms the verbal agreement is “100% done” and a medical will be scheduled shortly, dispelling earlier rumors of delays. The move aims to bolster Arsenal’s striking options ahead of the new season.

Chelsea and Arsenal’s transfer activities underscore a busy Premier League window as both clubs look to strengthen their squads strategically.
