Afrobeats megastar Davido has been confirmed as one of the top performers at the 2025 Essence Festival of Culture, scheduled to take place in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The international event, known for its celebration of Black culture, music, and community, will run through July 2025.
Davido is set to take the stage on Saturday, July 5, in a night filled with powerhouse artists from around the world. Joining him on the lineup are Grammy winner Jill Scott, who will headline a special “A Philly Jawn” showcase featuring Jazmine Sullivan and the legendary Patti LaBelle.
Other confirmed acts for the festival include neo-soul legend Erykah Badu, reggae icon Buju Banton, chart-topping R&B artist Summer Walker, Ghanaian-American singer Moliy, and 90s R&B sensation Donell Jones, who will perform at the Super Lounge.
