Police Arrest 17 Suspects for Pipeline Vandalism and Illegal Bunkering

The Inspector-General of Police Special Task Force on Petroleum and Illegal Bunkering (IGP-STFPI) has arrested 17 suspects involved in pipeline vandalism and illegal oil bunkering nationwide over the past month. 

During a media briefing on Wednesday in Abuja, Force Public Relations Officer ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi highlighted the task force's achievements, including the recovery of 250,000 liters of crude oil, 350,000 liters of Automotive Gas Oil (AGO), and 118 liters of Petroleum Motor Spirit (PMS).

The police have also seized 13 trucks during various operations. 

These efforts underscore the Nigeria Police Force's commitment to combating oil theft and illegal bunkering.
