NDLEA arrests two women in Edo State for selling illicit drugs online, highlighting efforts to curb drug abuse.

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has made significant arrests in Edo State, detaining two young women for allegedly selling illegal drugs online.

The suspects, Martha Owotorofa (26) and Odion Uzordinma (21), were apprehended in different locations in Benin City. 


Owotorofa was caught with Canadian Loud, a potent cannabis strain, while Uzordinma was found with drug-infused cookies and cakes.

The NDLEA’s crackdown on online drug trafficking in Edo State is part of broader efforts to combat drug abuse nationwide, focusing on online platforms that facilitate the illegal sale of narcotics.
