Minister of Communications, Innovation, and Digital Economy, Dr. Bosun Tijani, confirmed the project's details, highlighting the involvement of development partners like the World Bank.

This ambitious project aims to increase internet penetration to over 70%, reduce access costs by 60%, and boost GDP growth.

However, stakeholders urge cooperation from state governments to overcome challenges related to right-of-way charges and multiple taxation.
