Afro-house singer Niniola Apata has released a new single titled 'Raining (O Dun Mi)', dedicated to her late husband and longtime manager, Michael Chiedu Ndika, who passed away in May.
The three-minute track represents her first official musical release since his passing and serves as an emotional reflection on grief, love, and remembrance.
Announcing the single via her official Instagram account, Niniola described the project as a deeply personal tribute to Ndika, who was instrumental in shaping her career and personal life as both a life partner and business manager.
Beyond her private loss, the singer emphasized that the record is intended to offer solace to anyone navigating the burden of losing a loved one.
Ndika, a respected music executive and founder of NaijaReview, passed away at the age of 44, drawing widespread tributes across the Nigerian music industry.
Through 'Raining (O Dun Mi)', Niniola channels her mourning into art, celebrating his legacy and honoring his enduring influence on her life and career.
"'Raining (O Dun Mi)' is my deeply personal tribute to a man who was not only my life partner, but an important part of my journey and career." — Niniola Apata
