Addressing public discontent regarding ticket pricing and questionable refereeing decisions during the 104-match tournament, Infantino defended the officiating standards as normal occurrences seen in elite global leagues.
He praised the event's overall execution, highlighting the attendance of seven million fans across 16 host cities while maintaining an incident-free safety record throughout the expanded competition.
"We experienced no violence, no incidents, 100% safety and security, only joy and happiness! Seven million individuals from over 200 countries relished the tournament."
