Grammy Award-winning Nigerian icon Damini Ogulu, professionally known as Burna Boy, has officially surpassed Wizkid to become the best-selling African artist of all time in the modern streaming era. 

According to comprehensive industry data published by global music tracking platform ChartMasters, Burna Boy leads all African acts with over 14.46 million global Equivalent Album Sales (EAS).

Wizkid closely follows with 14.4 million equivalent units, marking a close competitive rivalry at the peak of the Afrobeats genre.
