Young Manchester United star Kobbie Mainoo has opened up about his "immense resilience" this season following a difficult start under former manager Ruben Amorim.
Mainoo, who struggled for minutes during the first half of the campaign, has become a fundamental starter since Michael Carrick took the helm, clocking over 1,300 minutes on the pitch.

Reflecting on his journey, Mainoo admitted that being sidelined was difficult but praised Carrick for the confidence he instills in the squad.
“He’s played a huge part in it... You want to follow him and fight for him and die for him on the pitch,” Mainoo stated.
The midfielder’s revival is seen as a cornerstone of Carrick’s tactical shift at the club.
