Operatives of the Delta State Police Command have arrested three young women during a tactical raid on suspected drug dens in the Ogbomoro and Ugolo areas of Warri.
The operation, conducted on May 7, 2026, targeted locations along River Road following credible intelligence reports regarding illegal drug distribution in the metropolis.
The suspects, identified as Favour Isaac (25), Favour Felix (24), and Samson Precious (19), were found with various illicit substances.

Items recovered included 640 grams of suspected "Canadian Loud," 21 bottles of codeine, canisters of nitrous oxide (laughing gas), and psychoactive "Highness Gum."
According to Qubes Magazine, State PPRO SP Bright Edafe confirmed that the suspected supplier, Rukewe Tega Isaac, managed to evade capture and is currently on the run.
Commissioner of Police Yemi Oyeniyi reaffirmed the command's commitment to crushing drug trafficking syndicates, noting that substance abuse is a major driver of violent crime among youths in the state.
