Governor Ademola Adeleke Hosts Popular Content Creator Peller in Osun State
Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, widely known as Nigeria’s "Dancing Governor," opened the doors of the Government House on Saturday to host popular TikToker and content creator, Peller.
The visit is a key stop in Peller’s ambitious 20-state Nigerian tour, which kicked off on March 6, 2026.
The TikTok sensation arrived in Osun following a high-energy appearance at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), where he was greeted by thousands of student fans.
The meeting between the Governor and the influencer was characterized by a lighthearted atmosphere, culminating in a viral dance session to a hit track by international superstar Davido, who is also Governor Adeleke’s nephew.
While the visit in Osun was a massive success, Peller’s tour has not been without its hurdles.
During his recent stop in Benin, Edo State, the content creator faced a summons from the Oba of Benin’s traditional council over alleged breaches of protocol, though Peller maintains the visit was authorized.
Since beginning his journey, Peller has visited Oyo, Ekiti, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
His stop in Osun further solidifies the trend of Nigerian politicians engaging with Gen-Z influencers to reach a younger demographic.
Governor Adeleke’s warm reception of the creator underscores his administration's unique blend of governance and entertainment-friendly public relations.
