Brooklyn Beckham has reportedly removed a tattoo dedicated to his father, football icon David Beckham, in what appears to be the latest move in their ongoing public family estrangement.
The 26-year-old had a large anchor tattoo on his upper right arm that once featured the word 'dad' and the message 'Love you Bust'—David's affectionate nickname for his firstborn. New pictures obtained by The Sun, however, show the tribute has been lasered off and redesigned into three nondescript shapes, with the text now faded.
This symbolic act comes just days after Brooklyn released a scathing statement indicating he had no wish to reconcile with his family. His father-in-law, billionaire Nelson Peltz, briefly addressed the drama during a public Q&A at the WSJD's Invest Live event in West Palm Beach.
“My daughter and the Beckhams are a whole other story and that's not for coverage here today. But I'll tell you my daughter is great, my son-in-law Brooklyn is great and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together,” Nelson stated.
When asked if he advises the couple on navigating the difficult situation, he replied, “I do. Sometimes they give me advice.”
