Big Brother Naija Season 10 housemate, Precious Ashiogwu, popularly known as Dede, opened up during a Sunday diary session about being misunderstood by fellow housemates.
The 23-year-old reality star expressed emotional distress after learning that some housemates view her as “unapproachable” and believe she is “doing too much.”
According to Dede, a fellow housemate approached her earlier in the week to discuss what others in the house thought of her personality.
“Someone came to me and said, ‘Do you know people have a perception about you?’ and I was like cool, that’s the point of a perception — everyone has one, it doesn’t have to be right or wrong,” Dede explained.
She said the conversation took a hurtful turn when the person added that her energy in the house felt intimidating and overly intense.
“They feel like I’m giving off an energy that is not approachable,” she said, visibly emotional.

Dede, who has been actively involved in nearly all house activities since the show began, found the feedback difficult to process. She said that despite her efforts to be part of the house dynamic, her genuine approach is being misinterpreted.

“That made me really sad but I didn’t show it,” Dede admitted tearfully.
