Nigerian rapper Blaqbonez has ignited concern online after claiming that unnamed individuals are threatening his life. The artist, whose real name is Emeka Akumefule, made the revelation via a post on X (formerly Twitter), amid an intensifying feud with fellow rapper Odumodublvck.

In the viral post, Blaqbonez responded to a worried fan who questioned his recent tweet about not lasting 15 more years in the music industry, despite being just 29. “Them say them go kill me,” he replied. “But I don record enough for 3 more albums. No fear.”

The statement has drawn attention not just because of the ominous tone, but because it came amid a fiery beef between Blaqbonez and Odumodublvck — one that has quickly escalated beyond music.

The feud began after Blaqbonez dissed Odumodublvck in his track with A-Q titled “Who’s Really Rapping.” The lyrical jab was met with verbal shots online, with Odumodublvck firing back, saying, “If rap hard for me, your last hit no go dey with me. I’m everything you want to be.”

Blaqbonez urged Odumodublvck to take the battle to the booth, writing, “Enter studio and get TF out my mentions… this no be Twitter warfare. No be so Kendrick dey do. Hip-hop legacy.”

Odumodublvck, however, took a more confrontational stance, saying their clash had moved beyond rap: “We go meet again for street. This is not a rap beef.”

The rap community and fans remain on edge, uncertain if this will fizzle out or spiral further.
