The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has recovered a stolen 2013 Toyota Camry after a high-speed tracking operation. According to police spokesperson Josephine Adeh, the vehicle was snatched at gunpoint on January 20, 2025, at Nipco Junction, Abuja.
The victims, a young woman and her fiancé, were ambushed by armed robbers in a blue Toyota Corolla. “The assailants fired warning shots before forcing them out of their car,” Adeh stated. Police swiftly activated tracking technology, locating the car in Zuba within hours.
While the vehicle was recovered intact, the suspects remain at large. The FCT Police assured the public that efforts are ongoing to arrest the fleeing criminals.
