NDLEA Arrests 3 Drug Peddlers in Jigawa, Confiscates N2.6B Worth of Narcotics
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has intercepted illicit drugs worth over N2.6 billion in Gumel, Jigawa State, arresting three suspects in a major crackdown.

Jigawa NDLEA Commander Musa Maina disclosed that the suspects—Jamilu Muhammad, Abba Ibrahim, and Shuaibu Umar—were apprehended after a 3-day operation spanning Jigawa and Kano. The seized drugs included 118.6 tonnes of Tramadol tablets and 195.3kg of Pregabalin capsules, hidden in a Toyota Sienna and an 18-seater Hummer bus.
