FCMB disburses N40bn in digital loans from January to August 2024. FastCash offers quick funds for school fees and SME support

First City Monument Bank (FCMB) has disbursed over N40 billion in digital loans between January and August 2024, boosting financial inclusion for Nigerians.
According to Adetunji Lamidi, FCMB's Divisional Head of Personal Banking, the bank’s FastCash loan product has played a significant role in helping Nigerians overcome short-term financial challenges, especially for school fees and supplies.

FastCash allows customers to borrow up to N200,000 within minutes through the FCMB New Mobile app.

FCMB’s Salary Plus Loan also offers salary account holders access to funds ahead of their next paycheck. Additionally, FCMB signed a $25 million agreement with the Dutch Entrepreneurial Development Bank to support Nigerian SMEs.
