NDLEA Foils Drug Smuggling Attempts During Protests

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) successfully intercepted several drug smuggling attempts during the recent protests across Nigeria.

Drug cartels sought to exploit the unrest to transport their illegal products via land, sea, and air. However, the NDLEA, equipped with advanced technology and sniffer dogs, thwarted these efforts, making significant seizures. 

The agency's Director of Media and Advocacy, Femi Babafemi, highlighted the ongoing battle against drug trafficking in Nigeria and reaffirmed the NDLEA's commitment to combating illegal drug activities.
