Al Hilal Target Victor Osimhen as Galatasaray Open Door to €65m Summer Transfer

Turkish champions Galatasaray have adjusted their valuation for star striker Victor Osimhen, setting a reduced asking price of €65 million following formal interest from Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal.

According to Turkish outlet Haberler, citing Sky Sports, Al Hilal have initiated discussions with the Istanbul club to explore the financial terms required to sign the Nigerian international.

Osimhen, who recently completed a permanent transfer to Galatasaray after an impressive loan campaign from Napoli, remains a central figure in the Turkish club's plans, but the board has signaled a willingness to negotiate should a suitor meet their €65m threshold.

While Galatasaray have not shut the door on a potential deal, any final transfer hinges entirely on convincing the 27-year-old forward to relocate to Saudi Arabia.

Al Hilal are reportedly preparing space in their foreign player registration quota by parting ways with French forward Karim Benzema, clearing the path to accelerate negotiations with Osimhen’s representatives in the coming days.

Should Osimhen opt to remain in Turkey, he is expected to spearhead Galatasaray’s campaign for a third consecutive Süper Lig title. Bookmakers current install Galatasaray as title favorites at odds of 2.00, ahead of rivals Fenerbahce (2.75), Besiktas (7.00), and Trabzonspor (12.00).

Since joining the club, Osimhen has maintained an exceptional scoring record, netting 59 goals in 74 official appearances.

His continued presence comes amid heightened domestic competition, with Trabzonspor recently adding Mohamed Salah to pair with Paul Onuachu, and Fenerbahce strengthening their frontline with Mason Greenwood and Romelu Lukaku.

"Haberler reported that Galatasaray have not entirely shut the door on a sale, with the club demanding €65m should a suitor meet their valuation, though the final decision rests with Osimhen." — Transfer Market Report
