Big Brother increased the competitive stakes in the Season 11 (Show Ya Sef) house by introducing two new structural twists that directly link the housemates' weekly performances to the ultimate prize money.
Moving away from a fixed cash structure, Big Brother announced that the ₦100 million grand cash prize will fluctuate based on housemates' compliance and performance. Failure to meet behavioral standards or task expectations will draw an automatic ₦5 million deduction from the winner's final cash purse.
The deducted funds will not be lost; instead, they will accumulate inside the newly launched Most Influential Player of the Week (MIPOW) prize pot. Every week, housemates will anonymously rate one another on a scale from 1 to 5 based on energy, effort, and entertainment value.

The highest-rated contestant each week will be crowned the MIPOW winner, with the total accumulated penalty pot divided exclusively among all weekly MIPOW winners near the end of the season.
