The Metropolitan Police have charged a second teenager in connection with the tragic shooting of 14-year-old British-Nigerian, Eghosa Ogbebor, in Woolwich, South London.
The latest suspect, a 15-year-old boy whose name is withheld for legal reasons, was arrested on May 6, 2026, and is scheduled to appear before the Barkingside Youth Court.
Eghosa was fatally shot on Lord Warwick Street on April 2, an incident that has sent shockwaves through the local community and the Nigerian diaspora.
Despite the swift arrival of paramedics from the London Ambulance Service, the teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.

This new charge follows the earlier arraignment of a 16-year-old from Romford, who remains in custody.
According to Qubes Magazine, the investigation is still very much active.
While two teens have been charged with murder, several others—including a 19-year-old man and a 46-year-old man suspected of assisting an offender—have been released on bail.
Specially trained officers continue to provide support to Eghosa's family during this harrowing time.
