JAMB Releases 2026 UTME Results: A Step-by-Step Guide to Checking Your Score
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially released the first batch of results for the 2026 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).
While candidates can now access their scores, the board has clarified that the printing of official result slips is not yet available.
JAMB spokesperson Fabian Benjamin announced on Friday night that candidates who sat for the exam on April 16 should use the approved SMS method for now.
He also issued a stern warning against using AI or other tools to manipulate result notifications, noting that such actions are criminal.
How to Check Your 2026 UTME Score:
Ensure you have at least ₦50 airtime on the SIM card used for registration.
Open your messaging app and type UTMERESULT.
Send the message to 55019 or 66019.
You will receive your score via a reply SMS.
How to Print Your Official Slip (When Available):
Once the portal is fully active for printing, candidates must visit efacility.jamb.gov.ng, log in with their credentials, and pay a fee of ₦1,500 to download and print the document. Candidates are advised to keep multiple copies of the slip for upcoming admission processes.
