Bloodbath in Ajah: Security Guard Absconds After Allegedly Killing 67-Year-Old Manager


Residents of the Ajah area in Lagos are in shock following the brutal murder of Chief Augustine Nwalieze, a 67-year-old manager with Okeyson Transport. 


The victim was allegedly attacked by his gateman, Abdullahi Dairu, on Saturday morning. Chief Nwalieze had reportedly gone downstairs to his car park to retrieve spare parts when the suspect struck.

The family became alarmed when the victim’s phone went unanswered while his three vehicles remained parked. 


After the gateman provided conflicting accounts and subsequently vanished, a search of the compound revealed the victim’s lifeless body in a downstairs flat with multiple machete wounds. 


Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Adebisi, confirmed that an investigation is underway and a manhunt has been launched for the fleeing security guard.
