Heartbreak as 37-Year-Old Nigerian Ademola Oke Dies Suddenly at UK Workplace
The Nigerian community in the United Kingdom is mourning the sudden passing of Ademola Oke, a 37-year-old father of two who was found unresponsive at his workplace.
The tragic incident, which occurred on April 18, 2026, marks the third sudden death of a UK-based Nigerian reported this month.
According to family friend Adejonwo Odutola, Ademola had left for work "hale and hearty" and had even exchanged WhatsApp messages with his wife at 2:08 pm. Hours later, a colleague arriving for a night shift discovered him unresponsive on a sofa.
Emergency services confirmed his death at the scene. Ademola leaves behind a 31-year-old wife and two young children, aged six and two.
