Nigerian singer Timaya has ignited controversy after a viral video showed him advising fellow artist Phyno that having children out of wedlock is preferable, claiming that "marriage doesn't work."
In the now-viral clip, Timaya appeared alongside Paul Okoye (Rudeboy) offering what seemed to be marital advice to their colleague Phyno.
Speaking in pidgin, the 'Dem Mama' crooner stated: "Just born pikin, pikin go grow. This marriage thing no dey work."
