Gospel Star Judikay Welcomes Second Child, Shekinah, Following Years of Fertility Struggles
Nigerian gospel minister Judikay and her husband, Pastor Anselem Opara, have announced the birth of their second child, a baby girl named Shekinah Umechukwu Opara.
The joyous announcement, shared on Friday, comes just days after the "More Than Gold" singer moved the world with her testimony of surviving six miscarriages.
In a powerful post on Instagram, Judikay described the newborn as a "manifest glory" and a direct sign of God's faithfulness.
The timing of the birth is particularly significant; Shekinah was born on February 14, 2026, exactly one year after Judikay suffered her sixth miscarriage in February 2025.
“She is God’s literal love gift to us. Have you seen the Lord fail? Jesus has the final—scratch that—ONLY say," Judikay wrote. "We are raising this praise so loud! All Glory to Jesus.”
The couple, who married in 2020, welcomed their first son, Joshua, in 2022.
This new arrival serves as a profound beacon of hope for many following Judikay’s journey, especially after her recent emotional video where she recalled crying out, "Jesus, where are You?" during her darkest moments.
Fans and fellow ministers have flooded social media with congratulatory messages, celebrating what many call a "restoration miracle."
