Infinix has officially launched its Note 60 Series in Nigeria, with pre-orders already surpassing internal targets, signaling robust consumer demand in the competitive premium mid-range smartphone market.
The launch event, held in partnership with distributor 3CHUB, brought together partners and customers for demonstrations. Eva Niu, Infinix Nigeria's Marketing Manager, described the series as their most advanced Note lineup, marking a "deep cooperation" with Qualcomm Snapdragon.
"Performance is everything for us because the chip is the foundation... This is the first time Infinix is entering deep cooperation with Snapdragon. The Note 60 Series is powered by Snapdragon 7th and 4th generation chipsets," Niu stated.
She highlighted industry-first features like the FG Matrix Display and "Live Photo on Android," a function previously associated with iPhones. The series also boasts a 6500mAh battery, aiming to resolve the traditional design-performance trade-off. "With the Note 60 Series, we achieved both. It combines attractive design, strong performance, a big battery, and fast charging," Niu explained.
Afolabi Oludare, Infinix's National Retail Manager, revealed that pre-orders have exceeded projections, prompting urgent coordination with headquarters to scale up production. "We have surpassed our pre-order target... The demand has exceeded our projections, so we are working to meet market needs," he said.
Oludare attributed the strong uptake to effective marketing, social media campaigns, and attractive pre-order incentives like bundled gifts. He also emphasized affordability options, including a one-year screen warranty and the "Easy Buy" plan offering zero-interest installment payments.
Haruna Idoko, Regional Manager at 3CHUB, expressed confidence that the collaboration would boost sales of high-end Infinix devices in 2026.
The Note 60 Series is available nationwide from Monday across 3CHUB outlets and authorized retail stores. Launch promotions include free accessories like power banks and earbuds, with pre-order customers receiving a smartwatch valued at ₦50,000.
