The initiative marks Quickteller's bold entry into lifestyle and entertainment, aiming to redefine the city's festive calendar.
Announced at a media briefing in Lagos, InsomniaQ is scheduled to run from the evening of December 21 into the early hours of December 22, 2025. It is positioned as a non-stop celebration of African music, creativity, and cultural expression, targeting music lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and December returnees.
Cherry Eromosele, Executive Vice President of Group Marketing and Communications at Interswitch, described the event as a "cultural statement." "With InsomniaQ, we are stepping into culture in a way that feels authentic, immersive, and reflective of the energy that defines Lagos in December," she stated.
Olawale Akanbi, Divisional Head of Growth Marketing for the Quickteller Ecosystem, explained the unique all-night format.
