Nollywood actress Judy Austin, known for her controversial marriage to actor Yul Edochie, has issued a stern warning to her supporters, urging them to stop creating and sharing death flyers targeting individuals perceived as her opponents.
In an emotional Instagram video posted on Tuesday, Austin expressed appreciation for her fans' loyalty but condemned the malicious acts. “Wishing somebody dead in the name of supporting me will never represent who I am. It’s plain evil, nobody deserves that,” she stated.
Addressing her followers as "my warriors" and "Judy lovers," she thanked them for their support but drew a clear line. “I saw some very disturbing images with people in a casket, post wishing people dead. That really broke my heart... That kind of action does not represent me. It’s not love, it’s not support, and it’s wrong.”
She emphasized the sanctity of life and urged her fans to maintain their humanity. “Life is sacred, it’s not something you joke with if you truly love me please stop. Do not defend me by losing your humanity. This is too much, this is too low,” Austin pleaded.
The actress has been a constant subject of online criticism and was labeled a "husband snatcher" following her marriage to Yul Edochie, which occurred while he was still legally married to his first wife, May Edochie.
