Fulham Close to Agreement for Manchester City Winger Oscar Bobb

Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb Fulham transfer talks Pep Guardiola comments

Fulham are reportedly close to securing a deal for Manchester City winger Oscar Bobb, as the 22-year-old seeks more regular playing time. According to sources from BBC Sport, Marco Silva's side are advancing in talks and nearing an agreement for the Norwegian international.

Bobb has found opportunities limited at the Etihad Stadium following the January arrival of Antoine Semenyo from Bournemouth. The young winger has made 15 appearances this season without scoring, with his last outing cut short by injury in December.

When questioned about the transfer rumors after City's win over Wolves, manager Pep Guardiola acknowledged the situation. "I know there are rumours, I know there are talks. But I don't know right now," Guardiola said. When asked directly if Bobb wants to leave, he added, "I think so."

The potential move would see Bobb join compatriot Sander Berge at Craven Cottage. Fulham, currently seventh in the Premier League after just one loss in their last seven games, view Bobb as a key addition to bolster their attacking options.

Bobb, who helped Norway qualify for this summer's World Cup, missed most of last season with a fractured leg but is now fully fit. Fulham have also made a separate £28m bid for PSV Eindhoven forward Ricardo Pepi, signaling an ambitious transfer window.
