The prestigious announcement was made during the glittering CAF Awards ceremony held at the Mohammed VI Polytechnic University (UM6P) in Rabat, Morocco.


The Nigerian team faced stiff competition from the Black Queens of Ghana and the Atlas Lionesses of Morocco but ultimately clinched the award.
