Standard Chartered Bank, in collaboration with the Zahn Innovation Center at the City College of New York, has announced CareerDay as the winner of the 2025 Women in Tech (WiT) Incubator Competition. The annual initiative aims to support and empower women entrepreneurs in the technology sector.

According to Business Wire, CareerDay was recognized for its innovative platform that assists college students in discovering and pursuing fulfilling career paths through personalized, AI-driven roadmaps and interactive tools designed to maximize their undergraduate experience. As the grand prize winner, CareerDay will receive $15,000 in seed funding to further develop and optimize their platform.

Sheyla Perez, representing CareerDay, expressed gratitude for the recognition, stating that the award provides momentum to expand their services and support more students with personalized career guidance. The WiT Incubator has been instrumental in refining their vision and preparing them to make a broader impact.

The second-place prize of $5,000 was awarded to EvalRx, a venture focused on transforming AI in healthcare by delivering unbiased data insights to improve outcomes.
