Tech: iOS 19 Update - Which iPhones and iPads Will Get It in 2025?

Apple's iOS 19 update is set to arrive in September 2025, according to leaks, with compatibility spanning all devices currently running iOS 18. 

This includes popular models like the iPhone SE (2nd, 3rd, and 4th generation), iPhone XR, iPhone XS series, iPhone 11 through iPhone 17 series.

However, there’s a catch: not all features of iOS 19 will be available on older devices. 

Sources suggest Apple may restrict certain features to its latest models, which could prompt users of older iPhones to consider upgrading to experience the full benefits of the new OS.

The report also outlines compatible iPad models for iPadOS 19, including the iPad Mini (5th generation and newer), iPad Air (3rd generation and newer), and iPad Pro (2018 and newer).

 Devices like the iPad (7th generation) and iPad Pro (2017) may not receive the update due to hardware limitations.

This incremental compatibility approach underscores Apple's strategy of driving innovation while encouraging device upgrades.
