UNICEF’s latest humanitarian update reveals the devastating effects of flooding in Far North Cameroon, with over 365,000 people impacted, including 124,000 children under five.

Heavy rains have destroyed homes, schools, and healthcare facilities, displacing thousands and heightening the risk of cholera, malaria, and malnutrition.

The destruction of agricultural land and loss of livestock further worsen the crisis.

The government of Cameroon, led by President Paul Biya, has pledged $3.1 million in aid, but urgent support is still required.
