Dangote Refinery has refuted claims made by NNPCL that they sold fuel at N898 per litre.

The refinery’s spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, labeled the statement as “misleading and mischievous,” clarifying that fuel pricing was presented in dollars, not naira.

He further emphasized Dangote’s commitment to addressing Nigeria's energy crisis and assured that Nigerians will soon see reduced fuel prices once the new pricing committee begins work on October 1.
