NDIC Reimburses 82.36% of Heritage Bank Customers – Find Out If You're Eligible

The Nigeria Deposit Insurance Corporation (NDIC) has successfully reimbursed 82.36% of depositors of the defunct Heritage Bank, focusing on customers with deposits below N5 million.

This achievement, disclosed by NDIC Director of Communications Bashir Nuhu, was made possible through BVN-linked alternate accounts, allowing depositors to receive payments without visiting NDIC offices. 

While those with deposits exceeding N5 million received the insured sum, the balance will be paid as liquidation dividends once the defunct bank’s assets are fully realized.
