Panic gripped Omoku town in the Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State on Saturday night as gunmen attacked the head office of the local security outfit, OSPAC.
The assailants, who reportedly arrived in two vehicles including an ash-colored Lexus, opened fire on the facility at approximately 8:10 p.m.
One OSPAC personnel sustained a bullet wound to the ankle during the assault but was saved after station guards repelled the attack.

Godknows Nkem, the spokesperson for the outfit, expressed surprise at the violence, noting that the office serves as a hub for residents to lodge complaints.
He also highlighted that the personnel have been struggling without adequate welfare for several months.
According to Qubes Magazine, the Rivers State Police Command has confirmed the incident.
ASP Blessing Agabe stated that while no arrests have been made yet due to the late hour of the attack, an investigation is actively ongoing to unmask the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
