Wembley Specialists: Manchester City Secure Fourth Consecutive FA Cup Final Berth

Manchester City have once again proven their mettle at the "business end" of the season, overcoming a resilient Southampton side to reach their fourth straight FA Cup final.

Despite a drab opening, the match exploded into life in the 79th minute when Southampton’s Finn Azaz scored a stunning opener, threatening to end City’s domestic treble hopes.

However, Pep Guardiola’s tactical substitutions proved decisive. Jérémy Doku equalized just three minutes later, followed by a ferocious 30-yard strike from Nico González to seal the comeback.

While the victory keeps City on track for a clean sweep of domestic trophies, it was a difficult afternoon for Phil Foden, who was substituted early after an anonymous performance.

City now look ahead to a final clash against either Chelsea or Leeds United on May 16, as Guardiola aims to finish what could be his final season on an unprecedented high.
